HOW TO FILL YOUR CUP AND SUPPORT AUSTRALIA’S ONGOING FIRE CRISIS- PART 2

Crystals for Change

INSPIRED BY THE AUSTRALIAN BUSHFIRE CRISIS

Crystals for change is a positive motion born from the dire and critical landscape that is Australia in the dawn of 2020.

The recent Crisis facing Australia as we close 2019 and welcome in 2020 literally lit a fire beneath me. Everyone is talking about the correlation of the new year and 2020 vision and it comes as no surprise. What we are facing on a global level right now is an earth that is suffering and it is clear as day. We all have 2020 vision right now- let’s use it wisely. If you can’t see how desperately in need our Earth is of us now.. Perhaps we never will.

GIVING BACK SUSTAINABLY IN A BIG WAY!

I have been thinking about ways Stoned Crystals can give back but not only give back.. Become a force of its own that inspires good and creates a worldwide domino effect. I knew in order to have this type of effect I would have to do more than give a portion of sales to charity. This is such an amazing and generous way to give back and I have so MUCH gratitude for businesses who do it! I was always inspired by businesses like Grill’d who also gave you the opportunity to choose where your proceeds would go. Once you finish your meal at Grill’d you are offered a coupon and you are then able to slide it into the box of the charity of your choice. I have so many memories around this ritual and think it is such a beautiful way to create a mindful moment around giving that allows for the opportunity for reflection and thought around where the money can go and who it can help.

CRYSTALS FOR CHANGE IS BORN!

For Stoned Crystals I wanted our charity leg to be, in itself, a force. One that would spider web across the globe and reach every corner of the universe.. and so…Crystals for Change was born!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT 💭  FILL YOUR CUP GUYS ☝🏻

(some insight from Part 1 of this article!)

Before I continue I would like to recap some of the musings that were put to paper in PART 1 of this Article. ‘How to fill your cup and support Australia’s ongoing Fire Crisis- PART 1’

  1. As a small business owner it was a well thought out decision for us to give some of our proceeds to the bushfires.
  2. We have heard of quite a few small business owners’ feeling bullied or otherwise felt a form of pressure to give more than their means allow.
  3. It is SO important that we fill our own cup in order to fill the cups of those around us!
  4. Look to the things you have in the most plentiful supply…some great ways to give back include these acts; DONATE, OFFER, CREATE, SPREAD, SEEK, WRITE, TEACH

Something I have in abundance is the ability to CREATE!

So I sat and thought…

How can I sustainably give back to charity ongoing?

How can I fill my own cup.. Thereby being able to keep filling those around me?

How can I give back to and help other small businesses to give back sustainably?

How can I inspire others to fill their own cup.. So they can fill the cups around them?

HOW WILL CRYSTALS FOR CHANGE  WORK?

CRYSTALS FOR CHANGE will enable small businesses to be able to sell crystals where a big portion of the sale is ALREADY in built to go to charity! That means without forgoing your own profits Stoned will give ALL of their profits from wholesaling the crystal directly to ..here’s the best bit .. A charity of choice!

How do we fill our own cup? By design we hope this initiative will spread quick and fast. It is an amazing opportunity for businesses who potentially have never even sold a crystal before, be that a cafe or hairdresser to offer something tangible that gives back, generates cash flow for them and doesn’t compete with their other products/services. We hope this positive fire full of good intention brings our karma full circle and brings awareness to Stoned Crystals, our message and our vision 🙂
