HOW TO FILL YOUR CUP AND SUPPORT AUSTRALIA’S ONGOING FIRE CRISIS- PART 1

LOOK AFTER YOUR OWN BACK YARD AUSTRALIA

What a sharp reminder these fires have been that it’s so important to look after our own backyard.

Just as it’s important to look after our collective yard, the space, the bush that joins our homes, our land. It’s important to also remember that we fill our own cup so we can continue to pour and fill others cups around us.

THANKYOU AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 THANKYOU WORLD!

Thank you Australia, what a wonderful place that we live, such big hearts 💕 I am really taken aback by the outpouring of support I have seen not only from our own but on a global scale. I see a lot of generous businesses out there giving 100% of their profits and this is a testament to the type of people Australians are and how the human race is capable of banding together in times of need. 🇦🇺🐨🙏🏻 To anyone who has done absolutely anything to save and support the situation that is going on here in Australia..Thankyou so so much! For the people that aren’t in Australia or aren’t in the position please DO NOT feel guilty at all. Not everyone is able at this time and that is okay too. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Please also don’t take your anger out on others or be the judge to decide who ‘is not doing enough’. If you are too far away.. think about what you can do locally. Just create the change you want to see in the world on a local level.. That’s already you giving back to the human race and our planet on a worldwide scale. Be Kind, The way you treat other people is the way god will treat you when you stand before him. Listen to the world with your heart and it will come back to you 10 fold.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT, FILL YOUR CUP GUYS

As a small business owner it was a very strategic decision for us to make, to give some of our proceeds to the bushfires. I took the time to sit and think and came to an educated decision on how much the business could afford to give.

I just would like to take the time to offer some food for thought 💭 as I have heard of quite a few small business owners’ feeling bullied or otherwise felt a form of pressure to give more than their means allow. Please take the time to budget what you can do and make a smart decision rather than a hasty one ☝🏻 and give what you can afford. That might mean a lower donation or things that don’t come in the form of dollars spent but gets the message out and forward to those who may be in a better position to do so. Look to the things you have in the most plentiful supply…DONATE, OFFER, CREATE, SPREAD, SEEK, WRITE, TEACH

WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN PLENTIFUL SUPPLY?
How can you help without emptying your own cup?

Is that time?➕ Sew mittens for our wildlife in recovery and volunteer!

Is that things/possessions?➕ Sell things you can afford to part with- One of our Stoner’s did some creative thinking and sold some of their belongings (their much loved crystals) to pay the message forward. It took some guts and trusting her intuition to get on Instagram and put herself out there but she did an incredible job and made a difference.

Is that friends/connections/ or international followers?➕ Spread awareness and post about the fires!🔥 Especially if you have a big following or international friends and family! And remember to try and insert a message of hope. We want to manifest abundance for our beautiful country and the constant death, destruction and fire imagery although extremely necessary is starting to weigh heavy and people will become desensitized to it. I myself would love to see some images of water wash through our feeds, positive intention and manifestation for our burnt landscape.💧

Is that money?➕ Donations are so important. If you have the means or have a business who can afford to give some of your profits this is an incredible way to give back which can have huge results if the money is going to the right organisations.

Is that ideas?➕ For me ideas flow through me in absolute excess. There are so many ways you can use a combination of the above in order to raise awareness. By connecting with other business for example and offering joint collaboration raffles etc where you are able to utilize a collective following your message will spread further and require less monetary donation from each individual.

In PART 2 of this Blog I am going to release a new programme where you will be able to GIVE BACK as a business without having to reach into your own pocket AND even make money. I have been pondering for many years now about how STONED will do its bit to give back to the Earth and those that walk upon it and I am so excited to share with you our new charity idea. (Which we will work to make official this year as a registered non-for-profit) I am SO excited to be moving into this new chapter in 2020 where we are finally in a place to be able to make a significant difference and support and inspire small businesses all over the world to integrate crystals as mindfulness tools and also give back to their chosen charities.
